Tom Glavine said his family's wishes will dictate his decision between pitching for the Mets or Atlanta. His 7-year-old son Peyton and 6-year-old daughter Mason spend the summer with him in Connecticut, but they're back in Georgia during the school year, separating the family for several months out of the year.

"I have a lot of reasons why I want to be back here," Glavine said yesterday as he packed up his locker at Shea. "The only reason, really, that it's even a question is my family. I think I've been pretty honest about that since last January. I haven't really had an opportunity to sit down with my wife, talk to my kids and see where they're at."
