The Braves have signed outfielder Braxton Davidson, the team's first-round pick in last week's draft, according to an ESPN.com report on Sunday.

Davidson, from TC Roberson High School in Arden, North Carolina, was the No. 32 overall selection in the draft.

The 17-year-old Davidson was regarded as one of the top power-hitting prospects in the draft. He turns 18 on Wednesday.
