The owner of a popular San Francisco eatery told the Detroit Nets on Monday night that word among waiters in his restaurant and others nearby had Tigers manager Jim Leyland meeting old friend Barry Bonds for dinner at Scoma's.

"Oh, I wouldn't have any comment on anything like that," Leyland told reporters.
