Lou Piniella's agent, Alan Nero, insists his client isn't thinking about replacing Torre if Steinbrenner fires the Yankees manager.

"Lou is focused on the League Championship Series for Fox. He is leaving everything else up to me. He has not spoken to anybody from the Yankees," Nero said. "He has a lot of respect for Joe Torre so it's not even in his thought process."

According to an industry source, Piniella is considered a fit for the vacant Nationals' job.
