On Thursday, two media outlets speculated that the Yankees would trade Alex Rodriguez to the Angels this coming winter, but GM Brian Cashman refused to discuss the matter.

According to an industry source, there haven't been talks between the two clubs about such a deal and Rodriguez has a complete no-trade clause he insists he would invoke to kill any trade
