Eric Chavez has been sidelined again with a sore left hamstring.

Chavez was been bothered with the same problem throughout the season and aggravated the injury when he was running down a foul ball during Tuesday's game against the Indians.

Athletic trainer Larry Davis said Chavez had an MRI on Wednesday that showed some torn tissue in his hamstring that indicates a strain and is day to day.
