Report: Rivera Won't Be Back Anytime This Week

Apparently Yankees closer Mariano Rivera won't be back anytime this week.

According to a report on MLB.com, Rivera is still bothered by a muscle strain in his right elbow and will be out for at least another week.

Rivera made more than 40 throws at about 80 percent intensity on Sunday, but said he still feels tightness in the elbow. He expects to throw off a mound on Tuesday.
