A player in the Los Angeles Dodgers' minor league system was suspended Tuesday for 50 games by the commissioner's office after testing positive for a performance-enhancing substance.

The suspension for right-hander Chales Dasni took effect immediately.

Dasni was 4-3 with a 5.63 ERA in 18 appearances this season with the rookie-level Ogden Raptors of the Pioneer League.
