The Giants on Monday said good bye to veteran infielder Jose Vizcaino for a second time.

The Giants recalled second baseman Kevin Frandsen from Class AAA Fresno and have designated Vizcaino for assignment.

The 38-year-old utility infielder hit .210 with a homer and five RBI in 64 games this season.
