Rich Harden has been on the disabled list since June 5th, but hopes to return this season.

"All I know is, I'm ready to go," Harden said. "I'm hoping it's sooner rather than later. I want to get going. In my mind, I'll be fine and come back. I try to think positively. ... When we start up, I've got to go nice and easy and not get too excited about throwing again. We don't want to rush ourselves here."

Asked if he thinks Harden will pitch again this season, trainer Larry Davis said: "I'd like to see that. I'm not going to force-feed him into pitching this year if it's a detriment to his condition. This is a young kid with a long career (ahead of him), and we're not going to do anything to jeopardize his career."
