J.T. Snow sits home in Hillsborough living the life of a retired ballplayer, traveling on summer vacations for the first time since middle school, overseeing a remodel of his house, and riding motocross and tubing with his 8-year-old son, Shane. Snow has not swung a bat since the Boston Red Sox released him June 27. "I haven't done anything except play Wiffleball with my son and throw him batting practice," Snow said. "He's hit some line drives off my chest." However, Snow has not retired from baseball and told a reporter in a phone interview Tuesday he would like to play in 2007. His list of teams is quite short. "I'm done for the rest of this year, but I'm leaving my options open," Snow said. "Looking ahead, I don't think I'd play somewhere where I have to leave home anymore. I'm through with that. That leaves the option of something around here."
