Hamels Headed For Free Agency?
The left-hander wants a huge contract and the Phillies have a number of expensive contracts on their payroll. They have $290 million committed to players age 31 and older. Philadelphia also has to consider potential extensions for Hunter Pence and Carlos Ruiz, as well as the status of free-agent-to-be Shane Victorino. |
