Matt Kemp will undergo an MRI on the injured hamstring that forced him to leave Sunday's game against the Rockies after the third inning. Dodgers manager Don Mattingly was asked whether it might be a good idea just to put Kemp onto the disabled list to let the left hamstring heal completely. "I'm not afraid to do it if that is what we have to do," Mattingly said. "I will let the medical people tell us what they think. They know a lot more about it than me. We will talk about it. We'll talk to (general manager) Ned (Colletti) about it. Everybody will be involved in a decision like this." Kemp, however, doesn't want to sit out. "I'm definitely not going on the DL," he said. "That isn't going to happen. The team needs me. I don't think this is a 15-day thing. I think it's a one-, two- or three-day thing. I won't need to go on the DL for it."
