The Blue Jays have demoted struggling closer Francisco Cordero, a day after he surrendered a game-ending grand slam to Brandon Inge in a loss to the A's. Manager John Farrell met Wednesday morning with Cordero, who has blown his last three opportunities and has only converted two of five chances this season. The pitcher says he agrees with the decision because "I'm not doing my job." Casey Janssen will handle the ninth-inning duties for now.
