Six months after having his tendon repaired, Justin Morneau is now experiencing typical post-surgical complications such as swelling and fluid buildup. The condition should be treatable in the short-term, according to his Minneapolis surgeon, Thomas Varecka. "Normal part of the process," Morneau said. "Everything structurally looked good. Timeline, he's not sure exactly on how long until it'll be better. It's hard to say. It just needs to get to the point where it's tolerable and not something that lingers." Morneau, who his hitting .240 with four home runs and nine RBIs, said he would re-evaluate his status Friday when the team opens a three-game series at Seattle.
