With growing expectations that the Nationals will deal the pitcher by the end of spring, the Tigers and Red Sox appear most interested in John Lannan. Lannan won 10 games and had a 3.70 ERA last season, but Washington's rotation became crowded following the additions of Gio Gonzalez and Edwin Jackson this winter. The left-hander's contract is big enough that it could scare off some potential trade partners, such as the Mets and Padres. The Astros have also had some interest in Lannan, sources say.
