The Pirates have reportedly agreed to a six-year contract with Andrew McCutchen that includes a team option for a seventh season.
The deal buys out McCutchen's remaining arbitration years and at least two seasons of free agency.
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette cited a source in reporting the deal, which is said to be worth $51.5 million with the 2018 option set at $14.75 million.
