White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen is leaning toward Tigers' veteran left-hander Kenny Rogers to start for the American League in next week's All-Star game in Pittsburgh.

Rogers (11-3) got his fourth straight win Wednesday as the Tigers beat Oakland 10-4 in his final outing before the July 11 All-Star game.

"I'm going to talk to Jim Leyland in the next couple of days and see how (Rogers) feels," Guillen said Wednesday. "I think Kenny has been throwing the ball really well and I think he's a guy in the right place to start because he pitched a couple of days early."
