The Cubs will have an arbitration hearing with Matt Garza on Friday in Florida to determine his salary for 2012, according to a source.

Garza is asking for $12.5 million, but Chicago has countered with $7.95 million.

The two sides have not been able to come to an agreement on something in the middle.
