Tony Womack appears to either be heading to centerfield or out of town.

Speaking generally, Cashman said, "I've got a lot of things going on behind the scenes."

Cashman said that Womack initiated the second meeting. When asked about it, Womack said: "Just a conversation. Everything's fine."

One place Womack could end up is San Diego, a team in need of a second baseman.
