Despite a snubbing from the fans, Ozzie Guillen and the world champion White Sox will be well-represented at next week's 77th All-Star Game. Although no members of the White Sox were voted in by the fans, Guillen, the American League manager for the July 11 contest in Pittsburgh, will have six players from his club participating. Pitchers Mark Buehrle, Jose Contreras and Bobby Jenks, first baseman Paul Konerko, outfielder Jermaine Dye and DH Jim Thome will join Guillen for the game. The Mets placed six players on the squad, including four starters. The NL team will be guided by Astros manager Phil Garner. Catcher Paul Lo Duca, third baseman David Wright, shortstop Jose Reyes and outfielder Carlos Beltran were all voted as starters by the fans. They will be joined by starting pitchers Pedro Martinez and Tom Glavine.
