Dodgers right-handed reliever Blake Hawksworth will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his right elbow Wednesday morning. The surgery, which is to be performed by Dr. Neal ElAttrache, will clean up scar tissue and an elbow spur in Hawksworth's throwing arm. The team said it estimated Hawksworth's recovery time to be between four and six weeks, which would not affect the pitcher's ability to be ready for the start of the season.
