It took five hours and two minutes to finally end, but the A's were able to draw three walks in the bottom of the 17th to beat the Dodgers, 5-4, on Saturday at McAfee Coliseum.

After 613 pitches from 12 different pitchers, Dan Johnson said that he couldn't believe how long the game lasted.

"Everybody was saying it seemed like a dream because it was going on so long," Johnson said.

After seven scoreless extra innings from both sides, the A's were able to end the madness with, well, an anticlimatic walk.
