Twins first baseman Justin Morneau will try some light activities over the next two weeks, another step in his recovery from surgery to remove a fragment of a herniated disk from his neck. Morneau had the operation on Wednesday. Twins trainer Rick McWane said Friday doctors "were very happy with the outcome," and the slugger was already starting to regain some strength. "The fact that his strength had already gotten better is a very good sign and encouraging," McWane said.
