Derek Jeter collected his 2,000th hit of his career on Friday night, a three-foot dribbler off Kansas City's Scott Elarton in the 4th inning.
"Oh yeah, he can get to 3,000" said Bernie Williams. "He's still has a lot of career ahead of him, you know. He's just breezing through this."
