Cubs third baseman Aramis Ramirez doesn't think he would waive his no-trade clause, despite the team's struggles this season. Ramirez is in the final year of a five-year, $75 million contract. The Cubs have a $15 million option for 2012, which includes a $2 million buyout option. "At this point, no, I wouldn't accept a trade," Ramirez said. "I've been traded before in the middle of the season, and it's too hard. It's hard on the players, it's hard on the family. "I've committed to the Cubs and the Cubs committed to me. That's why you have these types of contracts. At this point I'm not really interested in being traded, and I don't think I will [waive the no-trade clause]. I took less money to stay here in Chicago for five years, and I plan to honor my five-year commitment."
