Washington Nationals General Manager Jim Bowden said the slow start of right fielder Jose Guillen has not deterred teams from calling and asking whether Guillen would be available in a trade.

"Certainly, we expect Jose will turn it around and hit his 25 [homers] and drive in his hundred" runs, Bowden said Tuesday. "And I'm sure that's why so many clubs have been calling us regarding him, because I think people understand he's a pretty good hitter. He just got off to a slow start."
