White Sox star pitcher Jose Contreras has been officially sent to the DL with a hip injury, however, Sox fans should not begin to panic just yet.

White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen's announced Tuesday pitcher Jose Contreras had been placed on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to May 5.

Contreras, a five-game winner this season who has a 13-game winning streak dating to August, can come back May 20 against the Cubs at U.S. Cellular Field.

"That's the good news," Guillen said with a smile while speaking with reporters.
