Randy Johnson became only the third pitcher in major league baseball history with 4,400 strikeouts as the New York Yankees defeated the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, 10-5, on Thursday.
Johnson trails Nolan Ryan (5,714) and Roger Clemens (4,502) on the career list.
