Now that the owners of the Washington Nationals have been selected, ground was broken for their $611 million stadium complex on Thursday.

"It will take a great deal of work and effort to get done, but it's possible to get it done," said Theodore Lerner, leader of the new ownership group. "Generally speaking, they have a good opportunity to meet the deadline."
