Arizona Picks Up Herges And Vargas
The Diamondbacks sent minor league outfielder Doug DeVore to the Giants for Herges. Herges was designated for assignment last Sunday, a day after San Francisco acquired reliever LaTroy Hawkins in a trade with the Chicago Cubs.
