Justin Morneau vows to be ready for spring training after his 2010 season was cut in half by a concussion. "I started full workouts this week again after the Christmas break and everything is going well," Morneau wrote in an e-mail to MLB.com. "There is still no question in my mind that I will be ready to go for Spring Training." Morneau suffered the concussion on July 7 when he took a knee to the head against the Blue Jays. Post-concussion symptoms soon followed. "Justin continues to make good progress," general manager Bill Smith said. "He's well into his conditioning program and is down in Arizona, I believe. He will add baseball activities into his workout regimen, and we're very hopeful, optimistic that he'll be ready for Spring Training."
