San Francisco Giants slugger Barry Bonds was fined $5,000 for wearing illegal wristbands. The wristbands in question were in breach of apparel rules regarding size and logo design.

Bob Watson, baseball's vice presidnet for on-field operations said he has run afoul with wristbands before and has been fined before.
