Scott Podsednik insisted after the White Sox' 4-3 victory over the Detroit Tigers on Wednesday that he didn't have "[bleep] to say.''

He might want to develop some material because manager Ozzie Guillen has no intention of sitting Podsednik while he's in his current slump.

"I'm going to keep running him out there as long as he has confidence,'' Guillen said. "This kid is my leadoff hitter, and I'm going to keep running him out there until he tells me he can't.

"It's not fair when you struggle to all of a sudden bench you because I've always said the only way to get out of a slump is to swing. I'm not worried about him. I'm worried about him mentally.''
