The Cubs are expected to interview Bob Melvin for their managerial position sometime around the end of the season, according to a source.

He is a former manager of the Mariners and Diamondbacks.

Melvin was a leading candidate for Chicago's managerial job in 2003, but Dusty Baker got the job.
