Rockies pitcher Aaron Cook suffered a broken leg on Wednesday night after being hit by a line drive from Cincinnati's Joey Votto.

Cook's lower right leg was fractured in the sixth inning, but the injury may not actually end his season.

He was making just his second start since coming off the disabled list with turf toe.
