Marlins pitcher Josh Johnson could miss his next start after he was sent back to Florida to have his shoulder and back examined.

Johnson stopped a bullpen session early on Tuesday because of discomfort in his back.

The right-hander is 11-6 with a 2.30 ERA this season.
