Manny Ramirez pinch-hit for the White Sox on Sunday against the Red Sox at Fenway Park.

Ramirez played both games of a doubleheader on Saturday, so Chicago manager Ozzie Guillen held him out of the starting lineup the next day.

In the eighth inning, Ramirez came up as a pinch-hitter and was hit on the right arm by Boston closer Jonathan Papelbon.
