The Yankees will use Ivan Nova as their starting pitcher on Monday night and the pitcher is expected to help New York limit the innings of Phil Hughes down the stretch.

"This is a big opportunity," Nova said.

Javier Vazquez was supposed to help take stress off of Hughes, as well as CC Sabathia and A.J. Burnett, this season.
