Red Sox infielder Mike Lowell is still expected to retire after the 2010 season.

Lowell first suggested in April that this year might be his last.

"I'm pretty much set in knowing what I'm going to do after this year," Lowell said Sunday. "It will be fun. It will be fun enjoying my kids."

Lowell is hitting .229 with a .685 OPS on the season.
