Nationals pitching phenom Stephen Strasburg played catch on Sunday and is expected to pitch again this season.

Strasburg played catch before going to Washington to have an MRI on his strained right forearm.

"He did his normal workout this morning, and he is on his way to Washington," general manager Mike Rizzo said.

The right-hander is unlikely to make his next start, but the Nationals will wait for the results of his MRI before deciding their course of action.
