Cubs pitcher Carlos Zambrano wants to remain with the organization despite his up-and-down season. Zambrano recently stated that he would allow the team to trade him in the future, but he contradicted that on Thursday. He has a right to veto any trade the Cubs could make. "I don't know," Zambrano said. "But it's my option. I don't want to leave Chicago. I want to be successful here. I want to help this team, like I always say, be in the pennant race." He missed more than a month after a suspension and time on the restricted list following his dugout tirade June 25.
