Royals right-handed pitching prospect Aaron Crow appears to be still getting comfortable as a professional baseball player.

Crow, who was initially drafted by Washington with the ninth overall pick in the 2008 First-Year Player Draft but didn't sign, has struggled this season.

He is 8-8 with a 5.62 ERA in 25 starts for the Northwest Arkansas Naturals of the Double-A Texas League (22) and the Wilmington Blue Rocks of the Class A Advanced Carolina League (3).

After beginning the season with the Naturals, Kansas City decided to send him down to the Blue Rocks, which whom he has started his last three games.

Crow is 1-1 with a 5.40 ERA for Wilmington. He has given up 16 runs in just 21.2 innings of work in the Carolina League.

Overall, he has 108 strikeouts against 62 walks and opposing batters are hitting at a .281 clip.

The Royals drafted him with the 12th pick in the 2009 First-Year Player Draft and he signed that time around.
