Twins right-handed pitching prospect Kyle Gibson made his debut with Triple-A Rochester on Friday.

Gibson, who went 7-5 with a 3.68 ERA in 16 starts and 93 innings for New Britain of the Eastern League, was selected by Minnesota with the 22nd overall pick in the 2009 First-Year Player Draft.

He made his debut against Lehigh Valley, allowing just one earned run in 5 2/3 innings while earning a no-decision.
