The Mets have released infielder Alex Cora and demoted outfielder Jesus Feliciano to Triple-A Buffalo Saturday.

They called up outfielder Fernando Martinez and infielder Ruben Tejada from Buffalo to fill the roster spots.

The top prospects were scratched from the starting lineup 10 minutes before Friday's Triple-A Buffalo game, spurring trade rumors.
