Free-agent first baseman Carlos Delgado came to Yankee Stadium to work out for the Red Sox prior to their game against the Yankees on Friday night.

Boston watched Delgado hit in the indoor batting cage near the visiting clubhouse.

According to a source, the Red Sox thought Delgado looked OK, considering he hasn't played in a game since May 2009.
