A handful of clubs contacted the Dodgers about outfielder Manny Ramirez prior to Saturday's trade deadline, according to baseball sources. FOX Sports first reported that the White Sox wanted Ramirez, who is currently on the disabled list for the third time this season. Chicago was only willing to pay only $1 million of the more than $7 million remaining on his contract and would not give up any players. Los Angeles reportedly asked for Chicago's Dayan Viciedo. The Rays and Angels reportedly also asked about Ramirez.
