The Rangers have completed a deal with the Florida Marlins for infielder Jorge Cantu.

The Rangers are sending Minor League pitchers Evan Reed (currently at Double-A Frisco) and Omar Poveda (currently on the 60-day DL due to Tommy John surgery) to Florida, with the Marlins picking up a large portion of Cantu's salary.
