Tigers manager Jim Leyland has been suspended for one game by Major League Baseball.

Leyland was cited for inappropriate and aggressive conduct during the bottom of the third inning of Monday's game against Tampa Bay.

He was ejected during an argument in which Leyland said he accidentally sprayed second base umpire Marty Foster with sunflower seeds.
