Rays starter Matt Garza made franchise history on Monday night against the Tigers by throwing a no-hitter at Tropicana Field. Garza struck out six batters and walked just one to enter Tampa Bay's record books. He needed 120 pitches to complete the feat. The Rays entered Major League Baseball as the Devil Rays in 1998. It took them 12 years to notch their first no-hitter. The Mets and Padres are now the only teams in MLB that have not had a pitcher throw a no-hitter.
